Watching you sleep

As I was watching you sleep tonite, your peaceful dreams, your sweet sleepy smiles to the angels, I am amazed of how beautiful you are. How you are growing so fast and how I can hardly believe you are here. I love you little one.

2 MONTHS OLD ~ Changing every day

Can my little girl really be 2 months old today? You are growing and changing every day. You have started to smile, although you are quite stingy with them still. You also have started to show preference to specific toys and bat at them with your hands. You get bigger and smarter every day. We are celebrating Christmas with your Grandma and Grandpa Webb this weekend. You have received many presents. You are quite spoiled! Happy 2 month day little girl.

Welcome Baby Jacob

All are Precious in His SightSo Small, So Beautiful

We would like to formally welcome to the newest addition to our extended family, little baby Jacob Smith, precious son to Lesley and Jamie, who arrived unexpectedly 8 weeks early in the biggest snow storm in Missouri in 10 years. Lesley and Jamie had to walk about 50 yards to a cleared area so that their friends could pick them up and take them to the hospital because there was too much snow and they could not get out of their driveway. We told his mom that years later when he's acting up (and all babies do!) that she had to walk through a foot of snow, uphill, to have him so he better shape up, and she can truly mean it!!!

We love you Baby Jacob!!
Can't wait to meet you!!

Peyton's Christening

Peyton's baptism was today. We had a blizzard (maybe I'm exagerating a little bit) in Missouri this week but road conditions have improved in time for her day. My dad did slide into a snow bank coming into town. He's ok and so is the truck.

Peyton's gown is made from my mom's wedding dress and the locket is from daddy and mommy. She was not amused and screamed through the whole thing. My little drama queen.

The deacon gave our daughter a special gift. In the 80s in his travels he brought home a small bottle of water from the river jordan, many years before he was a deacon. He baptised our daughter with the last of that water, the same river that our Lord was baptized in. It was a very special moment for our family.
Here are some pictures from Peyton's special day.

hungry, Hungry, HUNGRY!!!!!

You my dear have a love affair with your baba! You were so hungry yesterday that you would have eaten the entire day if we would have let you. Screaming and carrying on like it was the end of the world! It's so hard to be little!

On a happier note you offered us 2 smiles in the past couple of days. It's a sneak peek of good things to come.

Your baptism is scheduled for this Sunday. Wouldn't you know that Missouri has been smacked with a ton of snow. Your aunt Missy has 14 inches and their nativity set in the yard is covered up to their necks. We have ice and snow covering all the streets and 300,000 + families and businesses are without power. What a mess.
